I really enjoyed this story. The characters were funny and original with a lovable family connection between Matt our hero, his sister Danny and their wonderful free-spirited parents.
The heroine of the story Angie, had lived a sheltered life as an extremely intelligent, nerdy scientist studying fruit flies for medical reasons...can't remember why, something to do with muscles I think. She grew up with a wonderful Dad but an absolutely horrid Mum. Angie's negative self-esteem is directly linked to her Mother's verbally abusive and degrading treatment.
This brings me to my biggest negative in the book...This chick can cry and there was a lot of snot flying. Probably didn't need to know that loving boyfriend was willing to use his shirt as a snot rag.
There were a few spelling and grammar mistakes, but the author has some real talent producing a humorous, smoking hot story so I was able to get past it.
Very happy to read this authors first book and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
