Woah. Try saying that name ten times fast. I have to admit that while I’ve been really enjoying this plot on the whole, I can’t stand how much it has been bouncing around. It’s been a total pain to follow. It goes through Justice League Dark, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman and the Justice League Dark, and now Justice League Dark and Wonder Woman. How convoluted is all of that?
That being said, if you’ve been following the plot then this is the one you don’t want to miss. While the plot doesn’t get fully wrapped up (they set up for it to continue in a different form) it does get mostly resolved. And considering the last part (in Wonder Woman, I believe) ended on a cliffhanger…well I imagine you were just as anxious as I was to see what happened.
I enjoyed the resolution of this plot. It made sense, on the whole, and was interesting. Not all of Justice League Dark was able to truly participate, but enough so that it felt right. I’m conflicted about the set up they did for the next plot. On the one hand they did a fantastic job linking the two plots together; it was well done and shows that they thought things out. On the other I loathe the choice they made and mythologically speaking I don’t agree with the way they represented that character. But I can always just tell myself that this is their interpretation of her, or something like that.
