Another great issue from Giant Days. I feel like Suzie got the least amount of attention this time around, but both Esther and Daisy got a lot of love. They had completely different plots going on, but honestly, both were pretty hilarious.
Daisy is learning to drive, and while this may shock you, I have to tell you that she’s just horrid at it. The running jokes about her learning experience were a highlight in this issue.
Esther’s plot was different than I would have expected at first. As per usual she can’t keep her nose out of anybody’s business, which ultimately means she got herself totally wrapped up in somebody else’s’ problems. Sounds about right, huh?
Oh! McGraw got some attention too! Suzie was almost always present for his scenes, so I guess I shouldn’t say she didn’t get any love after all. McGraw’s side of the issue was utterly unexpected, even though we probably should have seen it coming. Even with a dude that mellow, there’s bound to be a person that can set him off. It’d be impossible for it to be any other way.
