She never ceases to amaze me! Every time I think Kristan Higgins has outdone herself with each masterpiece she writes, she just awes me over and over again! I sincerely don't know how she does it. Each Hero and Heroine in her books are just amazing. The Blue Heron series is a familiar, witty, full of laughs, swoony romance (the feeling of -butterflies in your tummy-kind) and real life drama series. Higgins writes it in a way that just draws you in, making you feel like you're right there, or playing in your head like a movie. You really get to connect with all her characters. WAITING ON YOU was just another gift! Another one out of the park! It made me laugh, cry and swoon, all half way through the book, and I got my happily ever after, too. Just brilliant and real! I'm happy to see Colleen get her HEA and Lucas, known as the Spaniard, just swept me away with his gypsy eyes and heart. *Sigh*
I definitely and highly recommend WAITING ON YOU along with the first two of the series, THE BEST MAN and THE PERFECT MATCH to fully appreciate the BLUE HERON SERIES and to not miss a thing for a wonderful reading experience. Ill say it over and over again, once you read one of Kristan's books, you'll be HOOKED ON HIGGINS!
I received a ARC for my honest opinion and most certainly recommend this author to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance, with real, down-to-earth heroes/heroines/characters, lots of laughs and heart!
