Modern Fantasy is a new series, and it looks pretty interesting so far. I knew the minute I saw the artwork for this series that I would have to give it a try – just couldn’t resist. I’ll admit that the beginning was a little slow for me. It almost lost my interest a couple of times. Once I got into it though, I’ll admit that I found myself very curious about what was going on. It looks like our main character may be about to embark on a journey like she’s always daydreamed about. The catch is that I don’t think she knows it just yet… Cute artwork, funny characters, and lots of potential. I wouldn’t say no to some extra time spent on character development, as right now I don’t really feel attached to anyone. I’m hoping that will change in future issues, as time is an issue, especially for newer series like this.
