It was full of emotion about complicated love. Actually, it was an instant love or attraction. Fitz had experienced a troubled childhood while Cadence is living a normal life with loving parents.

The whole book focuses on what happened to Fitz and Cadence 17 years ago. It was at first confusing because the prologue says 16 years ago, then chapter one says 17 years ago. Then in the last part of the book it is 3 weeks later. There was a major cliffhanger and it really screams for a sequel so I cant wait to see what happens with Fitz and Cadence. Hopefully, Cadence will be more matured and independent. She won’t settle for less and knows what is right for her.
