I have a five-year-old kindergarten daughter this year and we adore educational books written by Tish Rabe so I was intrigued to see how we enjoyed "On the First Day of Kindergarten" illustrated by Laura Hughes. It was neat and a lot of fun to read with all my Littles. Even my toddler and third grade child enjoyed the repetition of it all. I think this would make a great addition to a school classroom especially for that first week or so.

Even as a homeschool family personally this is a fun read and speaks to the excitement and anticipation of things to come. Each page repeats and builds on the event from before. Reminds me of the hole in the bottom of the sea song my daddy sang with me as a child.

Review book, honest opinion. 8-15-2016
