Lost Dublin

Originally published in 1981 this is still interesting, to read about buildings which have disappeared which were of importance and interest. I would have liked a map or modern photographs, though I did notice that the quality of the newer photographs was not as good as some of the older ones. As well as a tour through particular places there is also a very interesting chapter on unbuilt Dublin, or the planned buildings that fell through.

Well worth it for authors looking for different buildings that could be a trigger to a story about a different Ireland.
