Angela Corbett's fresh re-take on soul mates is beautifully written and wonderfully fleshed out. She gives it a unique new spin, that makes it different, new, and exciting to read. It's full of sorching hot, and intense sexual chemistry that will leave you aching for more. The love triangle isn't overly done and blends in nicely with the flow of the rest of the story. Both Alex and Emil are wonderfully flawed and complex characters, definitely complicated as well. It's hard to tell who's right and wrong for Evie, because of the past that they each have tied with one another. Corbett does a great job of writing these two and the love they have for Evie in such a way, that there isn't a right or wrong choice where either of them are concerned.
Eternal Starling is definitely a love triangle done right!
Full of lost loves re-united with one another and fighting against darkness, it's a dark beguiling look into such a beautiful mythical world. Corbett does a magnificent job of developing the backstory of the Amaranthine and Daevos Resistance. It's an age-old battle between the Amaranthine Society the soul protectors and the Daevos Resistance the soul destroyers. Her writing style is highly addictive, laugh-out-loud funny, hilariously sarcastic, and witty. You will find yourself falling in love with the world she's created and the character's she's developed beautifully.
Eternal Starling offers reader's a glimpse at a new take on eternal love, which makes it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this book to you, if you're looking for a New Adult paranormal romance that will take your emotions for a whirlwind ride and leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, in anticipation of the next new novel in this epic series.
