Lucy was a strong, independent Heroine that knew exactly what she wanted. Miles was guarded but had a good heart, because of his face scar and other issues he felt that no one could ever love a beast (see what I did there). The chemistry between the two was a little slow build and I actually liked that. I really enjoyed experiencing their time together. There are a few other characters in this book that I enjoyed, they added so much to the story. I loved the drama in the story it had really exciting parts that had my heart racing hoping everything would work out. This is a clean read so nothing explicit and it had minor violence.
Overall, This book was everything I had hoped for. When I first saw it come out I knew I needed to get my hands on it and thankfully, BEA provided. I couldn't be happier and have heard they are planning to retell other fairly tales, I can't wait. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, clean and intense story that has some pretty amazing characters!
