Tempted (House of Night, #6)

by Kristin Cast and P.C. Cast

'I can never leave you in peace. You and I are bound. We will be each other's salvation, or each other's doom.' He took a step closer and I mirrored his movement by taking a step back. 'Which shall it be? Salvation or doom?'

Zoey Redbird, now High Priestess of the shattered House of Night, is doing her best to hold everything together while dealing with her beloved, injured grandmother, her moody boyfriend, her secretive best friend, and the aftermath of the victory over her former mentor and a terrible, beautiful dark angel.

But Neferet and Kalona have only been banished, not defeated, and everyone knows they're heading straight for the Vampyre High Council, where Zoey must follow.

Zoey might be a High Priestess, but she's still just a teenager. And she's the only hope the world has.

All I have to say about this book is that it is pretty good. Sure the whole thing of Zoey still fighting Kalona and Neferet in her freshman year of being a fledgling is still getting to me but at least this one was longer. We also got to have different chapters with different people being the main character in them. Granted it gets a little confusing if you aren't suspecting it to be in third person point of view after reading sort of six books in all first person point of view. I mean Zoey is still in first person of view in the book but I think that the mother and daughter duo will have better chances if they do all of the books in third person point of view.

This book though is pretty good. I mean yeah there isn't much of anything between Zoey and Neferet and Kalona but it's still good. I will give it five star review because of how good it is. I mean it kept me entertained throughout the whole book even if I didn't finish the book until now. I actually liked how Stark and Heath were working together better than Stark, Heath, and Erik.

Though I feel bad for Stevie Rae. I only feel bad for her because she is still trying to get use to being a vampyre but also trying to take care of two group of fledglings. One group wanting her help and the other not while also keeping a Raven Mocker a secret because you are trying to help his life. Granted he isn't technically human but I am thinking that since they have this Imprint that something maybe happening between the two of them that Nyx is happy about.

But I also feel bad for Zoey at the end of the book. Even more for Heath. I just hope that they will be able to fix her sometime during the seventh book.
