The overall plot of this book was good. A scientist invents a machine that can see and record what has happened back in time. Eygpyologist finds out about it and wants to see A) how the Pyramids were made and B) wants to see who placed a mystery tablet in the room under the Pharaoh's chamber

Then it got a little weird. Everyone in this book is super smart and beautiful. Then the aliens were introduced. Then the beautiful/smart people build a space ship....in record time.

This killed the book for me. I understand that this is a "space opera" but I have read "space operas" before and they have never been written like this. So, it is safe to say that I will not be reading this book again.
