This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. After finishing Part 1 I had to read the next part.

Part 2 is about the Party. The build up to it, the preparations with some flashbacks woven in.

Part 2 was just as gripping as part 1. While some secrets were revealed in part 1 there are still so many that are yet to be revealed.

The format was the same as Part 1 with each chapter focusing on one character. In this part we got to know the characters better. The flashback chapters provided some interesting background.

I'm keeping this review fairly short because I don't want to give anything away.

This book was gripping and addictive. I read it in almost one sitting and instantly started the next part. Harriet is an excellent writer and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.
