This was supposed to be Twilight meet Eleanor & Park. I don't know if that's true or not, because I had to let it go pretty early on.

I didn't like the writing style at all, it kept on annoying me to the point that I couldn't even focus on the story any longer. The vocabulary used didn't help my understanding of it all, it was just clumsy and didn't flow. I also think it could have used some correction, I found multiple errors throughout the pages I managed to read.

The main character, the girl, is so full of anger, one has to wonder why she's attending a normal school/boarding school in the first place. I mean, someone standing in her way and she decides to break her tray on his back? Yeah....that's not normal teenage behaviour at all! She really need to go see someone to get her anger under control.
I also didn't get why at the very first pages she says it's the day before her sixteenth birthday, but she keeps on being fifteen? What's up with that? Is there some paranormal aspect to this or is it a mistake or is it simply just me, not getting it? I don't know, and to be honest, I don't really care either :/

This book was simply just not for me. It was made more complicated and clumsy than necessary, and I just couldn't get myself to read on.
