I love a good book by Max and Monroe, so I was over the moon when I heard about this duet coming out. When it comes to authors that I absolutely adore, I tend to go into their books completely blind. The writing style was interesting and wasn’t sure what to expect with a podcast writing style. But I was surprised that it didn’t really bother my reading experience at all. Absolutely loved Luciana and Ollie’s story, which is told my Luciana’s POV. And for book 2, well in be getting Ollie’s and I have been dying to know his side since I finished reading this one.

What a treat this book turned out to be! I loved every little bit of it and I found myself crying at moments, because the FEELS, people. Quite the heartbreaking moment in this one and I was certainly unprepared for it.

This was my first time reading a book in a podcast style, I don’t normally listen to podcasts, the one’s that I’ve tried were a bit boring. And it made me a bit nervous to read this one, but I loved it in the end.

My goodness there were so many things to love about Luciana and Ollie. Their chemistry and banter was EVERYTHING in this book. And more than anything, they were the ones that drew me in so much. I really enjoyed that their love story took time, but it was evident since day one that there was something more between them.
Everything was going so well between the both of them and I was just wondering when the other shoe was going to drop! And when it did, cue the tears because it opens up Luciana so much more. And it just made me want to run to her and hug her!

I really liked Luciana’s concept of writing letters to her ex-boyfriend, it showed us another side of her amazing character. That she truly wanted to move on from the past of being consistently screwed over by her ex-boyfriends. She learned so much from each and every one of them, but I loved how blunt she was when it came to talking about them and how they treated her so poorly. She wasn’t trying to seek out revenge, this whole process was for her to get closure on the past. And by the end of the book, she came out so much stronger for it.

So yeah, absolutely LOOOOOOOOVEEEDD everything about The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks. Book 2 will be out soon and it’s Ollie’s story, I’m so ready to hear his side!
