This is about Abby and her experience at summer camp, and for most of the book I really had no idea what was happening.

Maybe it was becasue the illustrations are in black and white, but I had the hardest time trying to keep track of who was who. There's about 5 or 6 characters that pop up every now and then, and I never knew which name to put with who, but in the end, it didn't really matter, and I didn't really care to bother anymore.

This is a cute story. Shasta arrives, the new girl, and Abby becomes friends with her when all of Abby's other friend have already written her off as a liar and hate her. Shasta apparently got hit by lightening and that's why she has to take medicine and for some reason mysterious balls of light seem come around her whenever a storm rolls through. The balls of light is what I really didn't understand about the story or how it even fit into the story. It was just there.

I did have fun reading through this, despite my confusion at times. The story had a sort of mystical feel to it, which kept me reading.
