FAVORITE QUOTES:
"You're my redemption, Victoria. You're everything."

"If my life were a song, Rhenn would be the first verse. But I think ... I think you're meant to be chorus. The part that goes on and on."

Oh wow, the first book I've read from this author and series! And I am absolutely in love! I'm not sure how this happens, but lately, I've been discovering new authors and series late in the game, only to come out and completely fall in love with them. Plus, I'm a sucker for characters that are broken. Their journey towards their happy ending is always an emotionally filled one. A lot of Jayne Frost fans have been anticipating this one for so long and from the looks of it, all of them were completely happy with the Logan and Tori's book. I'm definitely going to go back and start from book 1.

Tori was a character that I completely admired and loved so much. From the beginning, we have the general idea of what happened on that horribly fated day. But for the past six years, she's not only recovering from the physical wounds but the emotional ones she got from that day. But her soul was shattered and no idea if she would be able to fully heal and be happy again. When she and her best friend started upĀ Twin Souls managing bands, a situation fell into her lap. And that was Logan Cage.

As far as rock stars go, Logan surprised me the most. He had his flaws, delved into one too many women, the drinking and partying, it was never-ending. He was living the life, but I loved how fierce and loyal he was to the one that mattered the most to him. You could throw loads of money at this guy, but he'd bat it away and always throw down to the ones he loves; his band family. Since he has a bit of a temper and got himself in a situation where he essentially needs to be babysat. Neither Tori and Logan expected to be so intrigued with each other. Little by little, their walls melt away and the chemistry is just growing between them.

Jayne truly knows how to tell more than one tale and wrap it up nicely by the end. She did a great job introducing the other characters from the previous books without being completely overwhelming and confusing for those who haven't read this series before. To me, that's a big necessity when it comes to writing a great series especially ones with interconnected stories. And she added some little nuggets of twists that just made this story so much more!

So yeah, if you haven't guessed, I absolutely love this book and am excited to read the rest of the books! What a read that completely lured me in, add in all the emotions running between Logan and Tori; absolutely phenomenal!
