Have I mentioned how much I love the Lumberjanes? Oh, I have? Well I feel like it’s been awhile, so that’s okay. This series is so fun, spazzy, and entertaining. It’s a fantastic break from some of the heavier series I tend to read, and a fun escape from the real world.
Here the Lumberjanes are off on another new adventure, though naturally it’s going to end up causing more trouble than expected. You can get a good idea of the basics from the cover; the Lumberjanes are off on a treasure hunt. Everyone has different hopes and expectations for what the treasure will be, and none of them end up being spot on, naturally.
The twist/cliffhanger at the end of this issue was both interesting and slightly evil. It’s going to be a long month while I wait for the next one to come out. Sigh.
