A huge improvement for me from book 1. I was much less lost and really got into the story more this time. The brutality that you definitely saw in Clutch comes out super strong in Fledge and I love books that go there. The characters are still a little confusing for me, in that I get confused about who is who because there are so many! But a vast improvement there, too.

I continue to love Junco. I was sad that Teir was mostly missing from this book, but his absence was made up for with tons of new, compelling characters. They were great, but also confusing for me to keep most of them straight.

Some pretty exciting moments and the end leaves you going, wait, I need more! Thankfully I'm able to jump right into book 3.

The narration is really good - I have a feeling that narrator switch has something to do with my improved rating. The last narrator was good, but now that I've heard Lisa Angelini, I realize the other one was missing that Je ne sais pas. I do miss her narration of Tier's voice though, as that was REALLY good and Angelini does it well, but yeah not as well. Overall, I'm happy with the narrator switch though.
