Just before their sixteenth birthdays, when they will will be transformed into beauties whose only job is to have a great time, Tally's best friend runs away and Tally must find her and turn her in, or never become pretty at all.
Took me a bit to become fully invested in the story, but it really picked up for me after the halfway mark! I was interested in a good dystopian and this definitely scratched the itch! The MC had some questionable decisions but ends up being redeemable which I was pleased about. With lots of drama and suspense, the cliffhanger ending means I'll definitely be reading the sequel!
