While navigating his first year of high school and awaiting the birth of his new baby brother, Scott loses old friends and gains some unlikely new ones as he hones his skills as a writer.
Freshmen year really is the worst, but I had a good time reliving it via Scott and his witty and snarky narration. There were lots of the expected antics, but what really impressed me, was how much Scott changed over the course of his freshman year. He found his passion for writing, put himself out there multiple times, and found that as he grew, he outgrew some of his old friends. I am looking forward to reading about more of his adventures.
