Desi's ex was the absolute worst! I truly liked Desi, but I wasn't really a fan of how often she was saved by Callum. As I kept reading through the book, the more it happened, the more it just wasn't sitting with me.
One of the most interesting parts of Crazy Heifer was her relationship with her ex's father. He was like a dad to her, I had no problem with it, it was just an intriguing addition to the story. But it really shows what kind of man her ex was, when your own father is always teaming up with Desi.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next Valentine!
