I know that I said this for Circus, but THIS is the best book in the series yet! The characters are gaining a bit of life and substance, especially the 'minor' characters. Alice seems to have come into her own and is sure of herself, despite still not knowing the secrets of her past.

In the face of an insurmountable odds and a seemingly incurable plague, Alice and the Pillar again must defeat another Wonderland Monster of the week and save the world.
