I enjoyed reading the first book in this series but it was left on a bit of a cliffhanger and so I wanted to read this book as soon as I possibly could. Luckily book two is already out so I could read it straight away.

I was pleased that this book starts where the last finished. Saturday is now moving on with a man called Axe but things aren't as good as she would have hoped with him. He seems to be all me me me and not giving much back to Saturday. We also have other characters introduced and they all work in really well with the book.

Saturday is getting a lot of gifts left at her home thinking it was Mark, simply binning them is easy enough to do, she doesn't want to even think about him but she finds that she thinks about him constantly. But when Mark is there after they rekindle and another gift turns up that wasn't from him this leads to another shocking discovery.

A lot of Mark is revealed in this book, his secrets, all of them big and small and Saturday has a lot of healing to do before she can totally trust him again.

I thought this was a fantastic series and hope to read more from Natalie E. Wyre in the future.
