Broke and unemployed, "Jumper" Sirantha Jax accepts a diplomatic mission for the government only to find herself up against Syndicate criminals, man-eating aliens, and her own grim, space-weakened body.
The title of this book is appropriate, because the plot did not want to stay on a straight path. The first book in the series had a very tight sense of plotting, whereas this one just meandered all over the place without any sense of direction. However, I still had fun with it and already have the next book loaded onto my Kindle.
