I really love that the Green Lantern series seems to be taking more risks in storytelling styles. It’s so refreshing! And honestly, I like the rougher edges of the series. That’s not to say that I don’t love the other series (because I’m still lamenting the other two and their conclusions), just that this one feels more organic in some ways.
This issue did a great job of showing power scales, and honestly, it was fun trying to put the pieces of the story together while it was still being told. I’m sure most of us jumped to the end before they got there, but I honestly don’t think that’s a bad thing.
