I liked this book a lot until the end then I disliked it. Okay not completely disliked it. I just didn't like the ending of it. June and Oscar finally get together and then they aren't together because of what ends up happening at the end of the book. I know that Miss Tonya Kappes is trying to keep us on our toes but I mean why did she had to have Oscar get his magic taken away? It's just so unfair for both June and Oscar's aunt.
What's even more worse is that someone wants June to be gone and sadly I don't remember who it was but it was definitely a good surprise in my head on who wanted her gone. We also learned that genies are real and that you should be careful on what you wish for with those guys around. This book was a good one and we met the lady's that are apart of the council that oversees all magical people. June also had some good character development going on but not by much. Another good book from Tonya Kappes.
