This review has a wee bit of spoilerage, so proceed with caution.

I really enjoyed Take A Risk which introduced us to the Sex Therapist , Lyssa who is being stalked and the man who signs up to protect her, Colt. Lyssa has had someone leaving her messages and flowers. When she reports them to the police, they don't take it too seriously. Things escalate, but the police can't and won't help her. After one of her trips to the police station, an officer comes out and gives her Colt's details and informs her he can help.

Colt has people who need his service meet him at his twins place of business, a strip joint that he is a financial backer. Once contracts are signed and negotiations finalised Colt and Lyssa attempt to find the stalker.

The connection between the main character's is pretty strong from the beginning. Lyssa's job as a sex therapist gives her a lot of confidence in her sexuality which made for interesting intimate scenes. Luckily Colt finds her amusing and doesn't mind that she talks about her satisfaction and what she finds pleasurable the whole time they are having sex. He also learns to accept that she assesses those she meets and whether their problems in life are a result of sexual dissatisfaction or inadequacies.

This was a fast paced book that kept my attention from start to finish. I enjoyed trying to solve the mystery of who was stalking Lyssa and why. Colt's brothers were lovable and I'm hoping Ms Finn has plans to share their stories.

Plenty of really steamy scenes that showed a great connection between Colt and Lyssa and they only had eyes for each other from the time them met.

I took away half a star for two reasons. Firstly Suzette, Lyssa's best friend, drove me bat spit crazy with her demands for attention. Secondly Colt should have told Lyssa who her stalker was as soon as he knew.

Overall I loved this story and will definitely be reading more from this author.
