Apparently, I've been on a little paranormal kick the past couple of weeks and they definitely haven't disappointed! I have no idea how I never heard of this series before and the mastermind authors behind it. But after reading Forbidden Claim, I've become completely hooked on not only this series but this author duo! I'll definitely be reading the rest of the Forbidden series!

Everyone knows that I'm a sucker for second chance romances, so when you pair it with one of my favorite genres, it's bound to be something amazing. And it was just that! I can't exactly say I agree with Isabelle on why she left her pack in the first place AND left the awesomeness that is Zane. But I loved how easy it was for them to get back into things like they weren't apart for years. What initially started as something that would essentially save Isabelle's life from her abusive and psychotic ex. They started to realize that their connection was fierce and explosive, just like when they were first together. When they can't fight their feelings anymore, it gradually blends into something real and everlasting.

I loved Zane and Isabelle together! Even when time has passed between them and feelings are still unknown, Zane would easily protect Isabelle with his life. Their love was just unbreakable and they tackled issues as a team. I really appreciated how honest they were with each other!

I was surprised with the multiple POVs and the extra side stories. They all easily tied in with the main story so effortlessly; it didn't distract from Zane and Isabelle's story at all. And that's a very tough thing to tackle. I can't say there are many books where an author does a good job writing from multiple POVs and actually working. However, reading about all these extra characters, I'm just dying to learn more about them. But more than anything, I'm definitely looking forward to Quentin and Hunter's book! Quentin absolutely pulled at my heart and his chapters easily became some of my favorites! Teagan and Reid's story was such a fun one to read about, spontaneity is what drove them to some of their decisions. A tad bit crazy, but I loved it and it just seemed totally fitting for the both of them!

R.L. Kenderson, you have both gained a new fan and I can't wait to go back and read more from this series! A rather enjoyable story or well stories that many paranormal fans will enjoy!
