This book is a sequel to [b: A Garden in Paris|633053|A Garden in Paris|Stephanie Grace Whitson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1387702327l/633053._SY75_.jpg|619349] and it could be read without the prequel, but I do not suggest it because you would miss a lot of character growth from the first book. I must admit that I really enjoyed the first novel better, but I did enjoy this one greatly as well. Here you have some characters that you have grown to love struggling through life's problems and learning how things will not always turn out how you once thought, but they will turn out fine if you leave God in charge.
