The Shoes Come First by Janet Leigh was a very good book and definitely one that I will keep reading the series. The characters were all very different but also worked very well together in this book. I know normally I don’t like historic books but this one is definitely one of my favorite time travel books. It’s different from Mr. Heldt’s books and it’s very interesting to read.

This book is the first book in a series and we are just getting introduced to this world and the characters. That I have a feeling we will meet more interesting characters in the future books especially since these characters felt so strongly about Jennifer Cloud being there. There isn’t much to really say about this book without spoiling it but I have to say that Ms. Leigh definitely has me hooked on this series.

I am giving this book a five-star review since it’s that good and I will recommend this book to everyone, especially those who liek time travel. Since that is what got me hooked first thing.
