I was actually following this journey when it was in app form but things happened and I forgot about it for a long while thinking it'll always be there but then I learned that albeit me buying the first two installments I wouldn't be able to see the rest of the adventure because it's not longer available which was a huge bummer but then I learned that it's available in one collected piece with the same properties and features which of course meant that I have to read it asap.

So basically I'm in control of Zane's life in this book where whatever decision I make when prompted would lead him on to continue his adventure and more importantly finally discover who his parent is. This was a really really fun take on the whole Percy Jackson series and having my decisions actually have multiple outcomes depending on what I do made it even more so. The book is fairly short so there wasn't a lot of things I can do or discover more about with the way things progressed which kind of weighed in on my enjoyment.

Out of everything Rick Riordan wrote and I of course read, his Greek series is by far my favourite so not getting the chance to really go on a lengthy adventure with me at the helm choosing how it goes was a big bummer so by the time I finished the short book, I wished there was more to it. Especially after I learned who exactly is my parent (I had a hunch and a hope from the beginning) who coincidentally also happens to be my favourite Greek deity so again I'm greedy with this and I just wanted more of it.

The fast sequence of the events in the book don't really leave that much of a chance if you will to learn more about Zane as a character, I mean yes I control his big actions but there is still some things about him that I didn't decide so seeing a continuation of this journey would've been fantastic for me and I know Rick Riordan has two ongoing series at the moment with one ending this year so hopefully I get the chance to go on one more adventure with Zane and Sam, maybe joined by one of his siblings or any familiar face.

So yeah, enjoyed it a lot despite the wishing for more aspect (again weighed a little more than I expected on my enjoyment) after the last disappointment of a book so I'm hoping my next read gives me the same experience and hopefully more if it can.
