I had previously read Her Best Shot and I enjoyed it, so when I noticed the second and third book in the series were on Netgalley to request, I knew I had to request both books.

Her Perfect Game is a very lovely story. The two main characters are Jonah Best and Charlie Castle. If you have read Her Best Shot, Charlie may seem familiar seeing as she made an appearance in a conversation on the phone with Layla.

Charlie dropped out of college because she realized it wasn't something for her—she would easily get distracted and not pay any attention in class. Also, a tragedy had hit Charlie and she turned to Jonah so he could help her figured out how to hack into computers and find the one that caused this tragedy. Jonah realized that Charlie was being eating by revenge and he left because he didn't want to see Charlie self-distract.

Three years later, they meet at the Hackfest, a convention where gamers/hackers get together to compete for a prize—a prize Charlie needs since she's a college drop-out and doesn't have a job.

Jonah and Charlie are definitely nerds with their gaming skills, talking about it like any other normal conversation and having fun with it. Their story is another one that I enjoyed—probably enjoyed it even more than Layla and Phin's story in Her Best Shot.

I really liked both characters, especially Jonah, wanting to take care of Charlie and watching out for her at all times. Even after three years, it is noticeable how their sexual tension is definitely still there and intense and leaves the reader fanning themselves over the hotness. The romance in this story was wonderfully written.

If you are looking for a fun, lovely, romantic and short story, I recommend Her Perfect Game.
