This was the final issue in the Multiple Man series, and I’ve got to say that I liked the ending. It’s hard to create an impactful moment in a series where there’s a lack of permanency. That goes doubly so for a character that can replicate himself. Without going for the whole ‘I can’t tell which one is which’ that is. But the creative team managed to find a way to wrap everything up and hit us in the feels all at once. And they even managed to throw some humor at it as well. They sort of hinted at the possibility for a future with Multiple Man, but without any certainty. They could easily go either way. I think I’d prefer that they left his character alone for a little bit, maybe allowing a cameo here and there, but that’s it. We need time for this conclusion to really mean something.
