This book had everything! It had the romance, the hot, steamy sex, the relationship issues, the anger, the hurt, the war, the fighting, and the near-death of a lot of characters I 'know' and love.

As usual, Nalini Singh's writing touched me, she can write all different kinds of scenes in an extraordinary way. It had me reading with bated breath, wanting to read faster, but not really, as I didn't want to miss anything.

I truly hope there will be more books, so many things are happening. Hawke finally got to know someone who is at least as strong as he is. Sienna was just great, just the kind of girl / woman I like to read about, tough, but vulnerable; strong but insecure, but not ever annoying IMO.

Great book!
