Great cover on this one. Good representation of the story. Excellent composition and title work as well.

Aww, this book was SO SO good. I mean come on, you knew I was going to say that, right? K can't write a book I don't love. At least she hasn't yet. With respect to the author's wishes, I am going to leave my review rather vague. I don't want to spoil anything or inadvertently give anything away. I will say that the subject matter of this book feels very pertinent to the times that we are currently living in and touches upon a subject that many of us (especially those of us with teenagers) unfortunately have to deal with. Lastly, this book falls more on the tamer side of things. So if you are not a dark romance lover, then this one would be a good book to lose your K Webster cherry too!

So deets...as always I found this one to be well written and very well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. There were some twists and turns. Some hot sex scenes. The secondary characters were interesting (although I wish a house would have fallen on one of them). No OW drama. Some OM drama. I ADORED Courtney. I felt so much for her and wanted to hug her SO badly. Although, I will admit at times I wanted to shake her as well and yell "STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!!" Rome was a bit of a mixed bag for me and probably why this wasn't a complete 5 star read. Look, I get where he was coming from. I felt his anger. I even understood it, to a point. BUT, the way he treated Courtney at times left me with a bad taste in my mouth. To me what he did to her wasn't any different than what he was so angry about to begin with. Different methods but still just as damaging. That said, he did have a lot of very sweet moments, and I tried to keep reminding myself these characters were only 19, so I forgave him when he had shit for brain moments and ended up loving him by the end.

Lastly, this was all wrapped up in a pretty sweet ending that tied up all the loose ends and will put a smile on your face AND have you satisfied that justice was served. This sone gets two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.
