Autumn and Ember Somerset inherited their grandparents’ farm and transformed it not only into a home for themselves but also as a rescue for farm animals. Turkeys, cows, goats and pigs find themselves happy here. Can Autumn and Ember find theirs?

Foster shares two very different sisters, pigeonholed by their mother and the baggage that they carry.

Autumn loves her romance novels, but after her fiancé jilted her, she hasn’t thought about marriage or love. That all changes when Tash Ducker, the man she crushed on as a teenager moves back to town and Ember sets him up as a client for Autumn’s design business.

Ember has suffered tragedy, but carries a no-worries persona like armor. However, Mike, the ranch hand who lives on premise and helps with their rescue get’s under her skin and makes her snarky. The outcome is delicious!

An adorable child, parents and an ex added to the story. The main romance belonged to Amber, and it delivered a slow-burn with plenty of swoons, laughter and heartfelt moments. The second romance surrounding Ember was equally entertaining, sizzling and delicious.

I loved the interactions with the animals and family members. I appreciated the matchmaking shenanigans and even laughed out loud. Foster had me grinning. I longed to wade in the cool lake waters and dreamed of living on a farm. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
