This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Dianne for letting me take part in this blog tour. I adored this book.

Chris and Katie are best friends. Katie is strong minded, a little bossy where as Chris is a go with the flow kinda guy. They have known each other pretty much all their lives and this book drops in on them and different points in their lives.

Sometimes when a book skips years you feel like you are missing out but Ines provided enough summary for the years that had gone by that you didn't feel like that.

From the first page of this book I loved it. I couldn't put it down and read half of it in one sitting. This book is very well written. You can tension building at just the right times and when it all comes crashing down you are crying right along with the characters. This book had a simple plot that draws you in and doesn't let you go until you have made two new best friends in Chris and Katie. There were times when I could feel each of their hearts shattering into a million pieces (I admit mine was breaking right along with them). I don't know how they kept it together and carried on being friends with each other when it would have hurt so much.

One tiny thing that could have improved the books is a glossary page explaining some of the Filipino terms as I found myself wondering what they meant.

I honestly loved this book so much and I can't wait to read more of Ines' books
