I've read all of the books in the First Class series so far, but was disappointed in this one. I feel it could have been so much more. I loved that AJ Harmon is keeping our interest with Matt and Janie, tying up Mark & Katy's relationship and giving us more of an insight into Andrew & Rory and their lives. The fact that the characters are more mature than the usual 20somethings is a real plus! Don't get me wrong, this is still a fun light read...laugh out loud funny at times. But I felt a bit short changed! There are still four more books to the series to tell the stories of the four younger Lathem brothers: Paul, David, Ben & Tim. First Class Voyage would have been an ideal launching pad for all the remaining books, not just for Paul's story. A chance to get to know their personalities and characters....to look forward to reading their stories'. We were not given much about Paul & Nic. In fact there didn't seems to be any sparks/chemistry between them at all! I haven't been left with an overwhelming desire to want to continue with this series. The idea of the cruise..whole family holidaying together is cute. The writing was just a bit too concise on this occasion.
