Unlike the first two books in the series, there's no romantic suspense in this one, just pure romance erotica. And beyond a few brief mentions of Trevor and Kylie, there are no appearances from any of the other characters either.

This was a sexy, fun read with some amusing lines and lots of romance. Chloe was an alright character - although she could be somewhat ridiculous at times. Her stubbornness to remain free grated on my nerves after a while, but there had to be a complication somewhere. Michael was pretty sweet and willing to put himself out there. The chemistry between them was intense and they even managed to have a few dates and romantic exchanges without the sex.

There weren't many secondary characters but I liked the ones that did appear. Lynne, Chloe's boss at Helping Hands (the temp agency she works for) was a fantastic friend and really went the extra mile to have her back. I liked that she was willing to tell her the brutal honest truth about Michael rather than just what she wanted to hear and to call her out on her commitment fears.

It was pretty typical romance. Run of the mill plot, instalove, etc, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. 3 stars.
