I bought this book second-hand, because I honestly wasn't sure about the series at all. It was the second or third time I had picked it up, and I finally decided to purchase it. I started reading it just while I was at work, so the beginning was really slow. It happened suddenly, the hook, and I was a goner. Jamie and Claire's story is intoxicating, and completely real. I loved this book from cover to cover, and absolutely couldn't wait to get to my hands on the next one. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for historical fiction, romance, or a little fantasy. I definitely think it's worth the time.

** Reread in Feb. 2017
I'm still dead over this story.
