London is celebrating her birthday when her aunt drops a huge bomb on the family that one of them needs to bear an heir to save their royal titles. Refusing to marry some random Duke, she and her brothers get her out of the country while they attempt to fix the laws. While out on a drive after finishing a job, Kannon comes across a car accident where he saves London. When bullets start to fly, Kannon realizes that she is in trouble and needs to be protected. Together they are determined to find out who is behind everything.
I enjoyed the twist and turns this story took and read the book fairly quickly. Kannon and London have a ton of chemistry with some wicked sexual tension between them. I enjoyed the side characters and am looking forward to their stories. I did start to get annoyed with Kannon and his constant pushing away but feeling bad about doing so. A good beginning to what is shaping up to be an extremely interesting series.
