Robert Bryndza's writing reminds me of a procedural British detective show. And that's what's good about it.

I wasn't expecting the typos this book had, and my physical copy had this weird glitch where some words seemed misprinted, like a subtle superscript. But it was still quite readable, characters quite likeable. Maybe because it's been a while since I last read a book in this series, as I'm now almost caught up, I believe that there are a few problems here and there, but I find they don't tick me off that much. Not like some other pieces of media.

As for the plot, it was enjoyable. It was a weird one, in my opinion, especially the plot twist. I think the best in the series is still Dark Water. I am hoping maybe the 7th book is a little more like that. Also, where is the BBC or whatever production company picking this up for a TV show? You have gold already totally written here, dude.
