This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Firstly I would like to say thank you to Maximum Pop for providing me with a copy of this book for review. I adore Paige's writing so when I saw that there was a chance to review this book I had to put my name down.
I have followed Johnny Jefferson's story since his first book Johnny Be Good. I loved both Johnny Be Good and Baby Be Mine. I also enjoyed Johnny's girl so when Paige first announced she was going to be doing a YA series based on a 15 year old daughter that Johnny didn't know he had I knew I just had to read it.
I read the Accidental Life of Jessie Jefferson in a matter of days. I had a similar experience with I Knew You Were Trouble. Paige has a way of sucking you in so that you can't bear to stop reading even just for a minute and your always looking for an opportunity to get stuck back into their world.
This book picks up right where the last one ended and Jessie is just about to return to school after her summer with the Jeffersons. She's still keeping her identity a secret and is hoping that for now she can carry on with a normal life.
I don't want to give too much away but suffice to say Jessie's life is anything but boring and easy.
This story has a fun energetic vibe that I just adore. You can feel Jessie's personality dripping in every scene. I can't wait to read more about Jessie's life.
