Bloody Brilliant!

Re-read 16/03/2015 before Soaring comes out. Still love this book. Jake and his kids...♥

Another wonderful story by Kristen Ashley.

This book was a perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover '. Jake on paper does not come across as the perfect hero in a romance. Father of three to two different wives and another wife who he luckily didn't "knock up", ex fighter and owner of a strip club. Jake has made it his mission to give his children the best he can. Not just monetary, but parenting as well. He is a great father. Not great at picking his women until he meets Josie.

Josie has had some very bad things happen to her when she was younger, but she learnt to live through the pain and make the best of her life. Things were going well for her until her only living relative that she cares for passes away. Gran has left her house and most of her money to give Josie a very comfortable life. When the will is read she finds her life has been attached to Jake's who she has never met and didn't know existed.

While Josie's is grieving she gets to know Jake and his kids and forms a connection.

This book is not just about Jake and Josie's relationship, but the relationships with Jake's kids and them and the bonds that form. There were also some great friends made, especially Taylor and Taylor and Alyssa.

The sexy scene were smoking especially the first one. The connection between them was sweet and loving with great support given to each other.

As per usual I absolutely loved Ms Ashley's work and can't wait for more.
