I was pulled into the Hines/Abraham/Links connected book by starting at the end...London and Logan's book. So when I finished that I had to go back to where Emma and Brody got together. I had to understand this family and how they all became so tight.

I had a challenge with the author's writing style, the storylines that seemed to get more far-fetched and the character development. But I will say the author is an evil genius because I devoured these books despite. She managed to get me invested in the characters where I cared more about what was happening next to them than the issues I had with the writing in general.

Brody and Emma can be sexy, but their sexy times were often trumped by Brody's overwhelming need to be an Alpha male ass and for Emma to cry and blow up about everything. But somehow they worked together, even when they weren't.
