I can always count on Sterling to give me a sweet romance and she certainly delivered here. After 10 years of radio silence because of a silly high school misunderstanding, Cammie and Dalton are given another chance. One of the things I liked is that they don't take their time with all the "will they won't they" nonsense that typically drives me crazy. They put their cards on the table and go for it. That isn't to say they don't have issues, but the issues are not manufactured or forced reasons for them to be apart. It felt real. And that is why I keep going back to Sterling again and again, even though I don't usually like contemporary romance - she doesn't make me want to roll my eyes.
