Harper is a wonderful Heroine. And while the topic is paranormal, there was something so normal about Harper. The characters had these abilities, but they were still 'normal' and it gave the book a depth that other paranormal books just don't have. If you are a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books, Buffy the Vampire slayer, and the likes, you will enjoy this book a great deal.
