This excruciatingly slow-burn romance had me on my toes and fanning my face the entire time! Just wow! I live for these types of romances, where the couple gets to develop slowly and you can truly tell they know each other inside-out.
I adored Brooke and her denial. You could really feel that she wasn't sure what to do and her ansiousness towards all of it had me feeling for her. I also enjoyed and loved her relationship with Joey. You could tell these two are completely close and the way Joey did something for her... I was like, GO Joey! And yes, he needs a book ASAP!
Mason... Oh, Mason. He stole my heart right from the start. That's a lie. He stole my heart back in ALL I WANT, but in this book, he completely blew me away with his patience, tenderness, care and love for Brooke. We all need a Mason in our lives, people!
Overall, a top read for 2018. The slow-burn romance was beyond slow-burn but goodness, it was the best! It's been a while since I've read an amazing romance like this one and I'll definitely be re-reading this baby over and over.
