This was a different book but really good. A former bully becomes the protector of a newborn with Downs Syndrome after everyone was eaten by beings called The Takers. Along the way, he meets up with a 400lb gorilla who signs and begins a quest to find out why what happened happened. Will I read again? Absolutely.
